Project Coordinator at the Rolling Film Festival in Kosovo needed!

What is it about?

The Rolling Film Festival has been organized in 2009, 2011 and 2012 and has become Kosovo’s most appreciated event for introducing other Kosovo communities to the Roma community, for supporting Romani artistic expression and for providing a festive, dynamic and transformative venue for combating stereotypes and promoting positive inter-ethnic relations. In addition, for their 4th edition, the Festival is looking for a Project Coordinator whose duties will include: fundraising and donor relations, implementation and recruitment of volunteers, team management, planning, promoting and coordinating the various actions of the festival, bookkeeping, monitoring and evaluation, partnership development, management of  projection/broadcast rights, translation, and subtitling
processes, as well as general administration and reporting. Additionally, the project manager should supervise and guide, as well as to control if the budget is spent according to the project plan and allocation.

Are you the ideal candidate?

Candidates possessing a university degree (MA preferred) in Arts History, Cinema History, Cultural Management or similar with extensive course work in cultural organizations, 2 years of project management with program coordination experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities are welcomed to apply.

Is there any remuneration provided?

There is a remuneration of 515 EUR net per month foreseen. The project coordinator is expected to work 40 hours per week. The starting date is 1 June 2014 and the work activity is expected to last until 30 November 2014. However, there is a possibility to extend the contract.
