Rebooting Hope: Digital Solutions for Environmental and Social Recovery. This contest is looking for feasible ideas from all over the world on how digital tools can contribute to environmental and social progress and support regenerative communities.
The best one – selected by the community and an expert jury – will be rewarded with money and wisdom
Have you ever thought about regenerative communities?
We really mean regenerativeand not just ‘harming the environment less’. Is there a way digital tools can help to establish them?
We all know that digital tools are super powerful. But most of the time, we don’t think about the fact that ICTs are needing tons of resources (e.g.: infrastructure, electric power). We also tend to “forget” that some digital tools are really not deployed in an environmentally or socially ethical way.
You might think now: “Hey, this topic is really broad?!” Yes, it is!
Don’t hesitate, get creative! To give you some inspiration: your ideas on digital solutions could target resource management, education, community engagement, or agriculture.

Open for international applicants with innovative ideas around digital tools that can contribute to environmental and social progress and support regenerative communities.
Prizes
First prize:
Prize money € 1,000 PLUS invitation to submit a project proposal for € 5,000 funding by ICT4D.at
Second and third prizes:
Invitation to Project Forge to further develop your idea with experienced international mentors in Vienna or online 1/2024
