Description
The University of Wollongong’s School of Law is offering PhD Top Up Grant of 10,000 AUD for up to three years. The grant is awarded to both domestic and international prospective students in the priority area of criminal law and criminal justice especially in the areas of alcohol and drug-related offending and the regulation of public spaces.
The Strategic PhD Top Up Grant will be awarded to a high-quality PhD applicant in conjunction with a successful application for a full PhD scholarship such as an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), University Postgraduate Award (UPA) or International Postgraduate Tuition Award (IPTA).
The University of Wollongong’s School of Law offers a rich research environment, contributing expertise to national debates and delivering research outcomes that are rated as above world standard by the Australian Research Council.
Eligibility
- First-class honours, Masters degree by research or a Masters degree by coursework with a significant research component;
- Additional relevant research experience and/or peer-reviewed research activity, awards and/or prizes will be regarded favourably.
Benefits
The scholarship is for three and a half (3.5) years full-time with a stipend of 26,682 AUD per annum (tax free and indexed annually). The Strategic PhD Top Up Grant is up to 10,000 AUD for three years.
