Deadline: 15 May 2016
Open to: everyone interested in photography in the field of migration and mobility

How has migration improved your life? Or the life of someone you know? Have you witnessed some of the many positive effects of migration on the lives of migrants and on societies? The overwhelming amount of sad news linked to migration all too often overshadows these positive aspects. This photo competition is about putting the benefits of migration in the spotlight, showing how it contributes to a better society and what it can do for development.

What will the jury emphasize?

  • Power of the photograph and a meaningful, creative caption that together tell a story related to the competition;
  • Thematic relevance and alignment with the competition objectives of raising awareness about the positive aspects of migration and its potential for development and communicating a related human-interest story;
  • Originality.

  • Anyone of any age, gender or nationality is eligible to participate;
  • If you are under 16 years of age, you will need to have permission from your parent or guardian.

The winners will be awarded five brand new GoPro HERO4 Black cameras (more info about camera HERE).
