FEPS is the European progressive political foundation. Close to the Party of European Socialists (PES) but nevertheless independent, FEPS embodies a new way of thinking on the social democratic, socialist and labour scene in Europe. FEPS establishes an intellectual crossroad between social democracy and the European project, putting fresh thinking at the core of its action. As a platform for ideas , FEPS works in close collaboration with social democratic organisations, and in particular national foundations and think tanks, to tackle the challenges that Europe faces today.

The Foundation for European Progressive Studies is now looking for an events organiser for a full-time, temporary contract (CDD).

The post is open in the frame of working towards the “Call to Europe” conference, organised by FEPS, which will take place for 2 days at the end of June in Brussesl.

Tasks will include: Fully organising the conference in June – invitations, venues, hotels, flights, speakers, targeting audiences, assisting with the communication strategy etc.

The contract will be to start as soon as possible and will finish at the end of July.

Eligibility:

Main requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience of working in Brussels or a similar domain
  • Fluency in English and French necessary. Other languages an asset.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Capability to follow own responsibilities independently.
