DPUSEM (Dumlupinar University Lifelong Training Centre) is organizing a Grundtvig Workshop called “Valuing Art, Respecting Culture” under the framework of the Lifelong Learning Program – Grundtvig.

This workshop promotes the use of visual art, particularly “Filigree”, as a tool to increase knowledge, skills and cognitive abilities, cultural understanding and aesthetic appreciation for the targets via the use of non-formal tools and methodologies.

Consequently, art in all its forms and expressions, provides not only the opportunity, but also the fundamental means for breaking down the dividing walls, which are not visible in everyday life, but which are still strongly entrenched in people’s minds and for this very reason harder to attack- such as racism and xenophobia. This is why we believe that “Filigree” as a visual art can represent a means of creating channels of communication between different cultures within a context of mutual respect, so as to enhance reciprocal knowledge and expression.

    1. Dear,

In the eligibility part it is stated that: Grundtvig Workshop is open to any adult citizen who is a national of or permanently residing in one of the Programme countries, namely: the 27 Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway (EFTA-EEA countries).

That probably means that unfortunately Macedonian citizens can not participate. You can still contact the organizers and ask them.
