Description
Koç University is a private, nonprofit institution located in Istanbul, Turkey, committed to the pursuit of excellence in both research and teaching. The Department of International Relations and the Department of Sociology at Koç University are offering two full time faculty positions starting in September 2015. With the possibility of joint appointment in both departments,one of these positions is allocated for candidates specializing in Gender Studies and the other position is allocated for candidates specializing in Migration Studies. The University hosts a number of acclaimed research centers, including Migration Research Center (MiReKoç) and Center for Gender Studies (KOÇKAM). Interested candidates would be expected to contribute according to their area of expertise.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the position candidates should have a Ph.D. in social sciences prior to the time of appointment in September 2015, a record of demonstrated research accomplishments, and reputation commensurate with rank.
Remuneration
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
