For the 5th time already there is a call for tender for the FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart Award Show (formerly ‘Main Exhibition’). From all entries the participants will be selected by an international jury, which will as well nominate the winners of the SÜDWESTBANK-FOTOSOMMER Awards. These will receive a total of 5.000,- Euro prize money (2.500,- / 1.500,- / 1.000.- Euro).
The Award Show of the FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart 2010 is going to show a wide range of artistic to documentary positions and will give an overview of contemporary photography. It will be presented in the Württembergische Kunstverein in the center of Stuttgart.
Opening and award ceremony: July 17th 2010, 8 pm
Duration of exhibition: July 18th – August 20th 2010
Location: Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart , Schlossplatz 2, 70173 Stuttgart
Topic:
The topic for works that you would like to submit can be selected freely. All photographic
genres are permitted though they should be in completed piece of work / series. An
independent and contemporary position should be recognizable.
Participation:
All photographers and artists who work with the medium of photography as well as all
students in the design faculty with focus on photography at a university, art school or
academy will be eligible as will photographic assistants.

Transport:
The participants selected for the exhibition FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart 2010, are obliged to
participate in the exhibition and are obliged to organise and finance the transport of their
works. We are glad to recommend a professional laboratory for on site production.
