University of Economics in Bratislava

The University of Economics in Bratislava (EUB) is the oldest university of economics in Slovakia, established in 1940. The University provides higher education in the field of economics and business in Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs for full-time and part-time students. 75,000 graduates have graduated from the University. There are currently around 13.000 students enrolled in all forms of studies.

International mobility

International mobility is provided under the ERASMUS program and the CEEPUS Central European program. The university cooperates with more than 150 universities from abroad through bilateral ERASMUS agreements, as well as within a framework of other agreements. Most international activities are organised with the co-operation of European Union countries. Co-operation with other countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia and Africa has been developed.

STUDY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES

University is ofering a Study Programme in FRENCH (Management de la Vente), Study Programme in  GERMAN (Internationales Finanzmanagement) as well as Study Programme in  ENGLISH (International Management. These programmes are focused on domestic students, nevertheless they enable foreign students to participate also. More information.

ERASMUS
Presently, the UEB has 164 ERASMUS agreements with universities in EU countries. Yearly about 190 students from EU countries visit the UEB.

CEEPUS
The CEEPUS programme (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is designed to promote of student and staff exchange and ideas among Central and Eastern European countries by the establishing of university networks. It is intended to enable Central and Eastern European students to gain additional education and experiences in partner universities, as well as allowing EU students to enrich their knowledge of CEE countries. Scholarships

The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic is intended to support mobility of foreign students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers to stay at Slovak universities. More info: National Scholarship Programme, Slovak Academic Information Agency

Visegrad Scholarship Program
Visegrad Fund offers Master’s and Post-Master’s scholarships for 1 or 2 semesters. Visegrad Fund website.
