Description
The European People’s Party (EPP) is the political family of the centreright. With 74 member parties from 39 European countries, the EPP is the largest party at European level. For the Brussels-based Headquarters, EPP is currently looking for a Junior IT Manager (M/F)
Responsibilities include:
Daily-basis operational tasks under supervision of the Head of the IT Department:
- First support to users for pc’s, laptops, printers and copiers (Help Desk)
- First user support for the fixed telephone and basic maintenance of the switch board
- First user support for mobile telephone including applications, installation and maintenance
- User call tracking and monthly statistics productions
- Installation and maintenance of the PC operating systems and applications (including technical documentation)
- Basic maintenance and upgrade for the file server and email server (including technical documentation)
- Performing the backup/restore procedures of the data of EPP secretariat (including technical documentation)
- Basic support for the network connectivity of the copiers
- Basic application developments
- Maintenance and verifying meeting room equipment
- Basic graphic design and layout of daily publications
Eligibility
Candidate Requirements :
- Fluency in English
- Education in IT and 2 years of professional experience
- Experience in IT user support
- Good command of Microsoft Office, Windows for PC and Windows for server, photo shop, graphic design.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP network environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft exchange platform is an advantage
- Team spirit, commitment and flexibility are required.
Remuneration
Working contract is under Belgian Law. EPP pays a competitive salary according to Belgian legislation and Social Security. Additional benefits will be provided in the salary package.
