African Development Bank Internship Program 2025 – Session 1

Open to: Citizens of African Development Bank member countries, aged 30 or below (30 years old by the time of commencement of the internship program) who are currently enrolled in a master’s degree program or have recently graduated.

Benefits: Interns will receive a monthly stipend and medical insurance coverage during the internship period. The Bank will assist in obtaining entry and residence visas and may cover air travel expenses to and from the internship location. Interns are responsible for their accommodation and upkeep.

Description:

The African Development Bank (AfDB) Internship Program 2025 is designed to provide students with an opportunity to acquire professional and practical experience while engaging in meaningful work that contributes to the Bank’s goals. The program aims to enhance interns’ skills and knowledge in development practices by immersing them in the dynamic environment of a leading African financial institution. Eligibility:

  • Must be a citizen of an AfDB member country.
  • Aged 30 or below ((30 years old by the time of commencement of the internship program).
  • Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program or equivalent, or have graduated within the past year.
  • Proficiency in English or French; knowledge of both languages is an advantage.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in standard software applications.
