Description:

The African Research Fellowship (ARF) is a prestigious 1-year research program hosted by ESA/ESRIN. The fellowship is designed to support researchers from African countries who are eager to contribute to scientific advancements. Fellows will be provided with a shared office, a computer, and assistance with obtaining an Italian Visa and an Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs ID card. Additionally, ESA/ESRIN will assist in opening a bank account and provide contacts for insurance coverage. However, fellows will need to arrange their own personal insurance.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be from African countries, with a focus on researchers and scientists seeking to further their research in cooperation with the European Space Agency. Applicants should hold a valid passport and be eligible to apply for a Type-D Visa if they are non-EU nationals.
