Description:

The Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest, now in its 24th year, is an annual competition designed to find the best humor poems. Serious poems will not be considered; only humorous content is welcomed, with creative or inspired gibberish also being acceptable.

This international contest is open to writers from around the globe, except for countries restricted by U.S. government sanctions. The judge for this year’s competition is Jendi Reiter, assisted by Lauren Singer. While AI-generated content is generally not accepted, humorous results produced with AI can be considered if pre-approved by the contest organizers.
