Description:

Design-a-Sock is an exciting annual contest hosted by Sock It to Me, inviting artists and designers from around the world to showcase their creativity by designing unique sock patterns. This competition offers participants the chance to see their artwork brought to life as real socks produced by the company. It is an opportunity for both amateur and professional designers to express their creativity and potentially impact the sock fashion industry with their innovative designs. Participants can submit up to five original designs, each using a maximum of six colors. The contest not only provides a platform for creative expression but also offers substantial cash prizes for the top three designs. Entries are evaluated based on simplicity, use of colors, originality, and how well the designs differ from the existing product line. The top designs will be selected by a panel of judges and the public through online voting, leading to the announcement of winners and the potential production of their sock designs. The winning socks will be manufactured in South Korea, where the company maintains strong, ethical relationships with its production partners.
