DESCRIPTION

POSCO TJ Park Foundation operates POSCO Asia Fellowshipprogram which aims to support young aspiring intellectuals who are pursuing their Master’s or Doctorial degrees in STEM fields in Korea.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Eligibility 
  • Applicants who have earned bachelor’s degrees (or above) and show potentials to grow into a leader in their respective countries
  • Applicants who plan to study in one of the following nine Korean prestigious graduate school (*please refer to the Note in the next page) in the Springor Fall semester in 2025
  • Applicants must plan to pursue their major in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
  1. Requirements
  •   Nationality: must hold Asian citizenship

       * Individuals who hold citizenship in non-Asian countries or Korea are not eligible

  •   English proficiency: must meet one of the minimum scores below

* Applicants who have graduated from a university in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States or the United Kingdom can be exempted from the English Proficiency Test.

* TOEFL, TOEIC, TEPS and IELTS scores must be from examinations taken after May 1st 2022.

  • Minimum GPA: 2.7 out of 4.0 (=2.87 out of 4.3, 3.0 out of 4.5, 82.9 out of 100)

Fellowship cover:

  1. Master: Tuition (Full amount, Maximum 4 semesters), Living expenses (1,0000,000won/22months)
  2. Ph.D./Integrated: Tuition (Full amount, Maximum 6 semesters), Living expenses (1,0000,000won/36months)
