Join the EcoWay programme and catch an eye and involve communities! That’s where the change begins.
What is EcoWay? It is a safe space for gaining knowledge and generating new ideas. It is an inspiring place for peer-to-peer learning, networking and knowledge sharing between environmental activists, as well as experienced mentors.
The programme includes three independent educational courses: VideoWay (October 2021 г.), CommunityWay (November 2021 г.), CampaignWay (February 2022 г.). They are now accepting applications for VideoWay. Each course is independent of the others and applications for CommunityWay and CampaignWay will open later.
Eligibility
The VideoWay is for you if you are:
– an activist working in the environmental field
– are active independently or belong to environmental initiatives and organisations;
– work in one of the following countries: Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Russia;
– have high personal and professional motivation to take part in the program;
– have an idea (content) of what video could be created to promote the environmental topic you are working with;
– have little to no experience of video production;
– willing to immerse yourself in the topic of video production for four weeks and work in an intensive format.

– Make short and succinct social media videos that will engage your target audience;
– write interesting accompanying texts for your videos;
– do editing in various kinds of video editing software including the freeware;
– find appropriate music and sound effects that respect copyright;
– promote your videos and other media content on social media.

Fill in the online application form (https://forms.gle/cHiV9kEKbmFpH1yF8) by September 5, 2021. Space is limited, so participants will be chosen in a selection process. All applicants will be informed of the results of the selection process no later than September 22, 2021.
