The Caterpillar Story for Children Prize 2019

Description 

The Caterpillar story prize 2019 is now open! This annual award is given to the best story (of no more than 1,500 words) written by an adult for children aged 7–11. The author of the winning story will receive EUR 1,000.And this year, they’re announcing a *second prize* of a week’s retreat at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Co. Monaghan, Ireland. 

 Eligibility

  • Anyone can enter, as long as you are over 16 and your story is previously unpublished;
  • The entry fee is EUR 12 per story, and you can enter as many stories as you like.

Award

The author of the winning story will receive EUR 1,000 and the second prize of a week’s retreat at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Co. Monaghan, Ireland.
