Description
Australian National University is inviting application for a number of PhD scholarships available for both Australian and international students.Scholarships are awarded for the period of three years full-time, with a possible six-month extension. Eligibility
In order to be considered eligible to apply, you must fulfill all of the following criteria:
- Are domestic or international students;
- Have applied for admission to a PhD or Professional Doctorate by Research program;
- Have a Bachelor degree with first-class honours (some Colleges may consider students with upper second-class honours), or a Master degree with a research component or equivalent from a recognised university.
Scholarship
Scholarship has a value of 26,392 USD per annum tax free, in fortnightly payments. Other benefits include travel to Canberra from within Australia, reimbursement of some removal expenses, thesis reimbursement allowance.
Application
Applications for international students are normally due by August 31 and applications for Australian/New Zealand citizens and permanent residents of Australia are normally due by October 31. However, Colleges may consider applications at any other time of the year.
