Description

The University’s Global Health Academy has been awarded 10 fully funded studentships across six online Masters programs within the domain of Global Health. The University of Edinburgh was ranked 17th and 21st in the world by the 2014–15 and 2015-16 QS rankings. It is now ranked 19th in the world according to 2016-17 QS Rankings. The Research Excellence Framework, a research ranking used by the UK government to determine future research funding, ranked Edinburgh 4th in the UK for research power, with Computer Science and Informatics ranking 1st in the UK.

The programs are:

  • MSc Clinical Education;
  • MSc Family Medicine;
  • MSc Global Challenges;
  • MSc Global eHealth;
  • MSc Paediatric Emergency Medicine;
  • eMPH Public Health.

Eligibility

The scholarships will be awarded to a candidate who is accepted for admission on to an eligible program and candidates who are citizens of and resident in one of the developing Commonwealth countries.

Benefits

The scholarship includes full tuition fee and resources to enhance student participation, access and research skills. This includes participation in a summer school; contribution towards student costs of internet access & printing (journal articles, etc); and a contribution to MSc project costs (materials, travel, etc).
