Description

The Training Course “Games of Media – Struggles for People?” aims to empower youth workers and youth activists to become conscious media consumers, to apply their critical thinking skills and to contribute to more inclusive and tolerant societies through NFE

The training course “Games of Media – Struggles for People?” will bring together 30 youth workers and youth activists from 10 EU and neighbourhood countries.

Eligibility

  • Youth leaders and youth activists committed to countering radicalisation and hate speech;
  • Youth workers involved in the topic of human rights education, particularly in regard to the current migrant crisis;
  • Young people with migrant or refugee background;
  • Coming from Finland, Georgia, Greece, Russian Federation, Serbia, Spain, Sweden or Turkey.

Costs

This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the organizers. There is a participation fee of 15 EUR.

Travel costs can be reimbursed up to the following amount:
Finland, Georgia, Greece, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey – 275 EUR.
