Description

Over 350 young leaders from 43 countries meet in Poland to come up with new ideas for the future of Europe. The Forum has been known as “Davos of the Youth” or “young Krynica”for years now. During mutual discussions and workshops new ideas are developed, new inspirations are created and new decisions on taking mutual actions are made. They are meant to generate a change in the future.

It is at the Economic Forum of Young Leaders that future elites acquire and share their knowledge. It is also a chance for the networking with peers from across the Continent and to rise quality and improve recognition of youth work.

Eligibility

People aged between 18-35 years with knowledge of English at communicative level and engagement in a political, civic, social or economic NGO or institution/organisation. If candidate meets these standards they assess his/her: experience in work in civic NGOs, political and economic areas and current involvement, additional experience gained in different seminars and courses etc.

Costs

  • 40 EUR is the fee from participants from countries other than Poland and Ukraine and it includes:
    • Attending all panel discussions, lectures, speeches and workshops during the Forum;
    • Attending panel discussions and lectures on 8th of September at the Economic Forum in Krynica;
    • Conference materials;
    • Accommodation, meals and coffee breaks;
    • Invitation to the banquets and dinners;
    • Local transport Nowy Sącz – Krynica;
    • Certificate.
  • 10 euro is the fee from participants from Ukraine and it includes everything what is written above.

Due to financial limits, reimbursement of travel costs will be possible only for some participants.

Organizers will cover travel costs up to EUR 300, if you’re coming to the Forum from outside of Poland by means of: bus, 2nd class train, low-cost airline, airline with APEX tariff (it means a cheap airline ticket, booked at least two weeks before departure/ Economy restricted).

Participants from Poland’s neighboring countries or with short distance to Poland has limited travel allowance of maximum EUR 150. These are: Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia and Hungary.

They do not cover travel costs for participants from Poland.
