International European Youth Parliament Forum in Armenia

Description

The European Youth Parliament Armenia (EYP) is a non-partisan and an independent educational project which is tailored specifically to the needs of the European and Armenian young citizen. Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe with patronage from the Head of the European Parliament, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, other high Representatives in the EU. The Second International EYP Forum in Armenia on “Democratic citizenship: obtaining, developing, empowering” will take place on 21-28 May, 2015 in the capital, Yerevan. Around 200 delegates from more than 50 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Americas will come together for this eight-day program that comprises of Team-building Activities, Committee Work, General Assembly, Euro Concert, Euro Village, etc.

Eligibility

The conference is open to young people 15-30 year-old, active youth, students coming from Armenia, Europe and the rest of the world.

Costs

Organizers will cover the accommodation and meals costs throughout the International Forum. The participation fee for international delegates is 70 euros. International delegates should take care of their own travel costs to and from Yerevan. The delegates who are recognized the best during the Forum will receive travel reimbursement.
