Training Course “Faces and Spaces: Through the Eyes of the Other”

Open to: High school students from Macedonia
Venue: Tetovo, Macedonia (25-30.08.2014)


This training course will be on acceptance as a trait of culture and on using artistic tools to promote such acceptance. For a period of 6 days participants with the help of the trainers will participate in lectures/workshops, visits, group work and field work through which they will increase their knowledge on the topic and enhance their personal skills. Additionally the participants will continue to be engaged in the project after the training as the core group that will act as multipliers in their local communities and in promoting the online platform of exchange and discussions. They will also be responsible for producing material for the duration of the online discussion and will organize a common diversity fair at the end of the overall project in addition to their personalized presentation in their local communities.

15 participants will be selected for the training.


  • High school student in any of the high schools of the country;
  • Proficient knowledge of English;
  • Interest in culture of acceptance and using art to promote such culture;
  • Previous engagement in civil sector will be considered a privilege.


Accommodation and meals are covered by organizers. Travel costs should be covered by the participants.
