Description
TRC Global Media Services SL, an editorial company specialising in producing promotional country features (with a key focus on business & investment) published in leading international media, particularly UK media including The Guardian newspaper, is looking for a Production/Editorial Manager to fill an opening at its Madrid office.
The position will entail heading the editorial/production team and managing the production of all features from their conceptualization to final print in both print and on-line. This will include coordinating tasks with both the in-house team and freelance collaborators – writers, graphic designers, illustrators, web-master, sales teams etc.
Remuneration will depend on experience.
Eligibility
All candidates must have English as their mother tongue, additional languages (esp. Spanish) is a bonus.
The ideal candidate should be and have at least three years’ experience in either editorial production or editorial coordination. Experience in online publishing is a bonus.
Desired skills include:
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability for multi-tasking and maintaining close attention to detail in all tasks.
- Should be an effective team leader/coordinator with good communication skills.
- Writing and research skills.
- Editing and proofing skills in English.
- Knowledge of Online communication (social media, website)
