The MVA Live Q&A session will take place 3rd April 8.30-10.00 am. The session will focus on the topic of Microsoft virtualization. The participation is is free of charge and open to everyone.

Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA) recently published a three-Jump Start series covering Microsoft’s approach to virtualization. All three of these courses have been so well-received by the community, so the organizers decided to ask Senior Technical Evangelist Symon Perriman and Principal Program Manager Jeff Woolsey to host a 90-minute “MVA Live Q&A” session on the topic.

This MVA Live Q&A session will focus on topics covered in the “Introduction to Hyper-V Jump Start” posted to MVA, and the questions will likely align to the major topics:

  • Introduction to Microsoft Virtualization
  • Hyper-V Infrastructure
  • Hyper-V Networking
  • Hyper-V Storage
  • Hyper-V Management
  • Hyper-V High Availability and Live Migration
  • Integration with System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager
  • Integration with Other System Center 2012 Components

Eligibility

While specific virtualization experience is not required, the audience should have proficiency with Windows Server 2012, networking and experience with virtualization technologies.
