Description

Danish higher education institutions receive a limited number of government scholarships each year to fund highly qualified full-degree students from non-EU/EEA countries and Switzerland.

The scholarships are administered by the Danish institutions of higher education, each of which decides which students will receive a scholarship. For further information about the government scholarship, please consult the admission details of the higher education institution of your choice.

Please note: The government scholarship consists of two parts and can be given as full or partial tuition fee waivers and/or grants towards covering your living costs. However, since the scholarships are administered by the individual higher education institution you should inquire at the institution of your choice for further details.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a scholarship you must be:

  • A citizen of a country outside the EU, the European Economic Area or Switzerland

  3. Dear Sofija,

So you are eligible citizen to apply and you are enrolled in a higher education programme. Since in the information shared on our web, there is no specification whether there would be a problem if an applicant is enrolled outside their country of residence, we advise you to contact responsible contact persons and there should be such contacts on this webpage: http://studyindenmark.dk/study-in-denmark/danish-….
As for your second questions, it probably means that you need first to be given residence permit in order to receive your scholarship, and it says "time-limited" probably because you cannot be given permanent one. Hope this helps, however consider finding and checking with the appropriate contact persons.

    Kind regards,
    Mladiinfo team

    1. Dear Maja,

That is totally up to the organizers and the scholarships' providers. Also, do consider that deadlines vary for different programs, so maybe the ones for art or architecture are already passed.

      Kind regards,
      Mladiinfo team
