The Anna Lindh Foundation Call for Project Proposals 2012

Description

Members of the National Networks of the Anna Lindh Foundation are invited to apply to the Call for Project Proposals 2012.

This call aims at supporting projects that promote the mobilisation and empowerment of civil society for inclusion and citizenship in line with the Anna Lindh Foundation’s ‘4D’ Strategy. This strategy conceives Intercultural Dialogue as a civil society mobilisation factor, aimed at valuing Diversity, promoting the participation of the society in building open and plural Democracies, and fostering inclusive and sustainable human Development.

  • The ALF supports ONLY multilateral projects built upon a 1+1 partnership formula with at least one partner from a Southern Mediterranean country and at least one partner from a European country (Please consult the Guidelines for the list of the 42 countries)
  • The overall financial envelope of this call is EUR 1,350,000, with Maximum grant amount: EUR 35,000 – Minimum grant amount: EUR 20,000
  • The number of projects expected to be awarded through this call: around 50 project
  • The ALF financial support will not exceed 80% of the total eligible costs of the project.
  • The duration of the project must be between a maximum of 12 consecutive months and a minimum of 8 consecutive months, and the duration of the implementation must fall within the period between 15 July 2012 and 15 October 2013

Grant

The overall financial envelope of this call is EUR 1,350,000, with Maximum grant amount: EUR 35,000 – Minimum grant amount: EUR 20,000.

Eligibility

Organizations which are members of ALF national network in one of the following Euromed countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Monaco, Montenegro, Mauritania, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia and Turkey.

Leaders, partners and countries hosting the activities must be from the above exclusive list.

Application

How to apply:

  1. Make sure you are a member of one of the Anna Lindh National Networks prior to the 20th January 2012 www.euromedalex.org/partner-search
  2. Register in the Call for Proposals online system and obtain a username and a password (please note that it is NOT the same username and password of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s website)
  3. Log-in and fill the online application (http://grants.annalindh.org/node/add/application-cfp2012), saving the draft regularly in order not to lose your data. Before filling it in, please read carefully the guidelines of the Call and the important information at the beginning of the online form
  4. Download the work plan template (Annex B), budget template (Annex C) and the partnership agreement template (Annex L) (http://grants.annalindh.org/guidelines), fill them in and upload them to the online application.
  5. Complete the online form to the 100% and press the submit button. Please note that only submitted application (not drafts) will be considered by the Anna Lindh Foundation. You need to save the form before the submit button will become active.
  6. Once you submit your online application, you will receive an online confirmation to your email address that your application has been successfully submitted. If you do not receive such confirmation you should immediately contact the technical support at http://grants.annalindh.org/support
