Description
The competition is open for all artists older than 18, no matter of nationality or gender. Performances or video art will not be taken into consideration. All other technique and materials will be accepted. Maximal dimension for two-dimension art works are 13x13cm and for three-dimension art works are 13x13x13cm. The authors can send up to three art works and the jury will decide which art works will be exhibited. Maximum two art works by one author can be exhibited. Art works must be sent prepared for the exhibition, according to the wishes and desires of the author. Dimension 13×13 includes also the frame. The first jury (Art comity of Gallery TRAG), which consists of three members, will select from the received art works. The exhibition will last for 30 days. The second, independent selection committee, will award three prizes to the most successful authors. The first and the second prized art works will stay in permanent possession of Gallery TRAG. All other art works will be returned to the artists. The artist can give his/her art work as a donation to The Gallery TRAG, and it will stay in permanent possession. All art works apart from the first and the second prized could be sold, the artista should put on the price of their art works or clearly declare that the art work is not for sale. Members of the selection committees can participate in exhibition, but they may not be awarded.
The registration fee for the exhibition is 1000 dinars or 10 Euros.
Responsibility of Gallery TRAG:
- To print a catalogue and to deliver it to each participant
- Reimbursement for possible damages of the artworks during the exhibition
- To award three prizes
- To provide media coverage during exhibition. During the exhibition The Gallery TRAG will organize concerts, literature presentations and similar events to promote exhibition and present art works
Responsibility of Artist:
- To deliver the application form
- To pay in slip for the registration fee
- To cover the transportation fees for delivering and returning of the art works
- The art work (with description on how to exhibit the art work, if is necessary)
Eligibility
The competition is open to all artists older than 18, regardless of nationality or gender.
Prizes
Three prizes will be awarded:
- First prize in the value of 100 Euros and an honorable certificate
- Second prize in the value of 50 Euros and an honoreble certificate
- Third prize is an honorable certificate
