For the 5th time Club Alpbach Belgrade, in cooperation with the Faculty of Political Sciences University of Belgrade, is organizing Alpbach Summer School on European Integration – a comprehensive course on EU and EU integration processes. This year ASSEI-B will be organized in the period September 15 – 25, in Belgrade at the Faculty of Political Sciences.
ASSEI-B Aims
ASSEI-B is aiming to enhance the knowledge about history, law, economic integration, policies and political systems of the European Union among students, graduates, postgraduates and young professionals coming from various academic fields. It is also aiming to create a regional network of young leaders, strengthening them to add a truly European value to the development of their countries and the whole SEE region.
ASSEI-B Content
The ASSEI-B project undertakes the model and programme of the Alpbach Summer School on European Integration designed and organized by European Forum Alpbach and the Institute of International Public Law, European Law and International Relations – University of Innsbruck.
The school is designed to meet a growing need for education on EU and EU integration processes among a broad group of young people with different educational backgrounds. It is opened for 25 participants chosen jointly by ASSEI coordinators of the Club Alpbach Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Sciences on the basis of previous educational achievements, submitted CV and motivation letter and English language skills.
Costs
Scholarship covers costs of participation, reading materials, accommodation, meals and excursions. Visa and traveling expenses will not be reimbursed.
All the lectures are held in English by distinguished professors coming from Austria and Serbia. Upon completion of the lectures, participants who have successfully past the written exam are awarded with certificate and 4 ECTS credits.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates are students, postgraduates and young professionals under the age of 35 with no limits in regard to educational background, coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, UNMIK Kosovo and Serbia.

Selected candidates will be informed by July 15 and asked to confirm their participation. Please note that cancelation later than August 20 is subjected to a processing fee of 50% of the total amount of the scholarship.
