Mary Orr Paterson Scholarship at College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine

This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate or postgraduate student of College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edingburgh from the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Slovakia.

The value of the award is a maximum of £4,000 per annum towards fees or maintenance costs or travelling expenses and is tenable for the duration of the programme of study, subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility

The scholarship is awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit to citizens from the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Slovakia who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a programme of study and whose personal circumstances would make accepting an offer from the University of Edinburgh difficult.

Application Process

A completed scholarship application form must be received by 1 May 2011.

Notification
A Selection Committee will meet in May 2011 to select the scholarship holder. The winner of the scholarship will be announced in June 2011.
