10th TRIMO RESEARCH AWARDS
FOR THE BEST DIPLOMA PAPERS, EXPERT WORKS, DISSERTATIONS AND DOCTORAL THESES
in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and United Kingdom.
Fields of Research
The purpose of the contest is promotion of research work among undergraduate and graduate students in all the fields of research that are interesting for company Trimo.
* ARCHITECTURE (for example: contemporary steel architecture, mobile architecture, light design, modern façade envelope design, interactive building façades)
* CONSTRUCTION / CIVIL ENGINEERING (for example: modern building materials, thin-layer façades, nanotechnology in the field of construction, sustainable construction, composite constructions)
* MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (for example: renewable energy sources – solar thermal technology)
Selection Process and Awards
Committee for the research work shall submit the received research works to the experts in different fields, to make a review and together with them appraise and award the best works. Prize-winners shall receive money award. Furthermore, summary of their work shall be published in Trimo Research Awards brochure.
The works, considering the up-to-date achievements of the science, new approaches and solutions, enabling Trimo to use them in the practical work, and of which results shall contribute to further success of the company, will be reviewed.
The prize-winners will be informed of winning the award until end of May 2011. The prize-winners should give one copy of the originally bound work to Trimo and by prior arrangement present it in public.
Application Procedure
The candidates may apply not later than March 15th2011.
The application should contain originally bound research work in English or native language and the application form with summary in English language. Brief summary in English should contain main stresses of the work (2000 signs) and will be published in the Trimo Research Awards brochure.
The candidates apply by fulfilling application form and send the originally bound diploma paper, expert work, dissertation or doctoral thesis until March 15th 2011, to the address:
