Students for Europe – Brussels is a Belgian non-profit organization, founded and led by Master students in European Studies from the Institutes of European Studies, linked to the following universities: UCL (Université Catholique de Louvain) and FUSL (Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis). The SFEB is based in Louvain-la-Neuve and in Brussels.

This year the European Week will take place from the 27th March to the 2nd April 2011 on the campus of Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis, at the very heart of Brussels, capital of Europe. The five-day programme consists of a parliamentary simulation, debates, a conference on a special topic and a visit of the European Parliament. This way, participants will discover both cultural and institutional aspects of Europe while meeting new friends.

Each of the similar past events has brought together between fifty and hundred participants from all over Europe and beyond. In order to make this European Week a real success, our goal is to recruit students from various universities – from inside and outside the EU, from the European continent and even further. This event is a unique chance to discover how the European Union functions, to meet and talk with some European Union’s representatives and civil servants, and students from different cultural and national backgrounds, all of that in a friendly atmosphere and with an open-minded spirit.
