The United Nations has declared 2010 the International Year of Youth we want to hear your voice. What are your hopes and dreams for this year? What kind of mark do we want to leave? This is the perfect moment for youth entrepreneurship, global citizenship and social responsibility.
Eligibility
* The ‘Our Year’ worldwide Art Contest is open to youth aged 13-25;
* Submissions are limited to one (1) participant;
* Entries must be the original artwork of the participants.
Criteria of the submitted work
Artwork can be submitted in the form of a video or digital image that can be uploaded (including, but not limited to: painting, sculpture, and photography).
* Video guidelines:
Entrants may submit their videos the same way as any other submission by following the instructions outlined on the website. Videos can have a maximum length of 3 minutes and must use only original or royalty-free music and images.
* Digital Image guidelines:
Supported file formats include jpg., jpeg., and gif. (up to 4 megabytes). Images must have a minimum size of 800 x 600 pixels.

1st Prize: $600 Virtual Gift Card from Amazon
2nd Prize: $300 Virtual Gift Card from Amazon
3rd Prize: $150 Virtual Gift Card from Amazon
Submission procedure
All interested participants need to become a member of the TakingITGlobal online community (by clicking on “Join TIG”), afterwards the digital version of art work or video can be submitted.
The submission deadline is 1st September 2010.
