Culture Goes Europe is organising an European Youth Meeting in Kamenka, Czech Republic. It will be held from August 22nd till the 25th 2010.
The meeting is open for all young people who are interested to meet their peers from other countries and to have some fun, to gain new skills you might need while doing EVS (European Voluntary Service), to share your EVS experience with others or just to learn what is EVS and what are possibilities for doing EVS.
What to expect
Kamenka is a beautiful touristic place with lovely nature and with a lot of possibilities for leisure activities, picnics, excursions, and sport. Swimming in the lake, sleeping in a quarry, fun in Heipark are all planned in the programm. Here you can check about Kamenka.
Beside having fun and enjoying the nature there’s a rich agenda that will include
training skills, different workshops and everything you need to know about EVS. Also, if anybody
needs help with their EVS project, there will be special workshops where you can learn how to
develop your project (from project writing to project coordination).

How to reach Kamenka
Kamenka is 350 km east from Prague, 480 km south-east of Dresden and 200 km west from Krakow.
CSE will give you some helpful links to find the easiest and cheapest way to get there.
There’s a Facebook group where you can connect with other young people who are
planning to participate and to plan your trip together.
Participation fee is 15 EUR (paid by arrival) and is including food and accommodation.
This does not cover the travel costs.
