Finance University

The Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Finance University) is a federal state-funded institution located in Moscow. It is considered among top 5 universities in Russia and one of the oldest (founded in 1919) Russian universities preparing economists, financiers, bankers and financial lawyers. Over 400 international students from 47 countries study at the University every year.

The Finance University consists of 14 faculties, 40 departments, 3 institutes, 2 high schools, 2 research institutes, 8 centers, 2 training – science laboratories, a network of regional offices – 11 branches and 4 offices open in seven regions of Russia.

Exchange Students

The Financial University maintains long-term ties with many European partner universities: Frankfurt School of Management, WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management (Koblenz/Vallendar), Hochschule Bremen, University of Cologne and University of Vienna as well as University of Potsdam, University of Toulouse, Lyon School of Management, Banking Institute / College of Banking – Prague. A double-degree agreement has been entered into with the two last-named institutions. Every year 12 to 15 exchange students come to the Financial University from the above-mentioned and other universities to make acquaintance of the Russian system of economic education and to attend a number of courses delivered in the Russian or English languages.
