Description
With the aim to raise awareness over the current environmental and social situation, Segunda llamada, Greenpeace Mexico and UAM (Autonomous Metropolitan University) invite participants for the 4th International Poster Competition under the theme: “Processed foods: Do you really know what you eat?”. The Segunda llamada 2015 International Poster Competition is intended to create awareness, reflection, dialogue and spread information about the importance of consuming natural foods, organic farming and the health damages, fast and processed food cause.
Eligibility
Participation is open to professionals and students within the areas of design, visual communication and related careers.
Prizes
The Pre-Selection Committee will select 100 finalists who will be evaluated by the international jury. The jury will select 40 finalist works to become part of a poster itinerant exhibition and the publication of a digital and/ or printed catalogue. Three first awards and honorary mentions will be granted upon the jury’s decision. In case of publishing a printed catalogue, it will be freely distributed to selected participants, requiring them only to pay for the shipping costs. Results will be published on Wednesday, 7 October 2015 trough Segunda llamada´s social networks and on the official web-page.
How to apply?
To participate in the competition, entries must include the following:
- Poster Size – 60x90cm (3545 x 5313px – 150 ppi) Vertical format only. Black ink or grayscale, JPG, Grayscale mode, (NO RGB / CMYK) maximum 5MB;
- Low resolution poster – 600x900px – 72ppi JPG, Grayscale (NO RGB / CMYK);
- Brief justification – 300 characters maximum. Without name or alias;
- Contact information and sustainable action proposal – Full name, age, address, zip code, country, telephone number, e-mail address and a proposal of a sustainable action related to food habits which the participant commits to undertake in his/her daily life.
Proposals must be uploaded trough the this link. Participants can upload a maximum of 3 proposals (single or conforming series).
