Residencies for Young Artists in Europe and Canada

Every three years the European Pépinières organisation launches a residency program for artists under 36 years old. The Pépinières residency program is set up in close collaboration with national, regional and municipal authorities. Host institutes are responsible for training and for the presentation of the artists’ projects.

This year, the partner structures still propose new residencies opportunities in Europe and Québec in Canada that allow young artists build new plural projects and meet new audience.

Eligibility
This programme is open to young artists from all artistic field between 18 and 35 years old, residing in one of the programme’s member countries:
Austria – Belgium – Bulgaria – Cyprus – Czech Republic – England – Estonia – Finland – France – Germany – Greece – Hungary – Iceland – Ireland – Italy – Latvia – Luxembourg – Malta – Netherlands – Poland – Portugal – Quebec, Canada – Romania – Scotland – Serbia-Montenegro – Slovakia – Spain – Sweden

Grant

* participants will be awarded a grant for a working period at residential art centers and art institutes;
* the cities where the host institutes are located, offer the artists’ accommodation.

Application procedure
All interested applicants should fill in the application form and submit it online.
Additionally, they should prepare following documents for submission:
* a text presenting her/his artistic process (1 page max in word or pdf)
* a text presenting her/his motivation (1 page max in word or pdf)
* a text presenting her/his project (1 pages max in word or pdf)
* CV
* some pieces to illustrate her/his artistic process : images, audio and video files…

All the documents should be submitted by 16th of August 2010 at midnight (Brussels time) to: map@art4eu.net
