Grant: US$25,000

Description

The Singapore Committee for UN Women and MasterCard are once again joining hands to launch the Project Inspire: 5 Minutes to Change the World in 2014. As with Project Inspire 2013, this year-long digital and social media driven initiative aims to inspire young people across the world to take action to empower disadvantaged women and girls in Asia/Pacific, the Middle East or Africa through entrepreneurship and business literacy.

Launched in 2011, to mark the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day and the 25th anniversary of MasterCard Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, Project Inspire presents young people with a five-minute platform to pitch their inspired idea, for the chance to win a grant.

This is the chance for change-makers aged 18-35 years old to apply for Project Inspire. The competition is open to non-profit and non-governmental organisations, and social businesses, benefiting women and girls in Asia, the Middle East or Africa.
