Social Media Academy : Raising Teen Employability Resources (SMARTER) is an intensive 9 days training course for 40 participants coming from 14 countries (Romania, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Cyprus, Malta, Greece, Croatia, Lithuania, Iceland and Turkey) and 16 organisations (non profit, bodies active at European level, informal groups). The project will take place in Bucharest, Romania from 22th to 31st of August 2014. The project aims to empower the participants to implement employability projects at local level by using social media tools.

Eligibility

The participants must be:

  • over 18 years old
  • legal residents in one of the countries mentioned above,
  • fluent English level;
  • youth workers, project coordinators and/or volunteers;
  • have basic digital skills (using internet and computer applications);
  • interested in social media for improving their current or future employability projects (initiative to raise the employability of young people);

Costs

Meals, accommodation, activities and 70% of transport costs will be covered by the organizers. Participants should cover (if needed): medical insurance and any other personal costs.
