Description

The Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies at Cornell University will award two Postdoctoral Fellowships for the 2014-15 academic year in the field of foreign policy, security studies, and diplomatic history.

The Einaudi Center, established in 1961, helps to stimulate, support, and coordinate Cornell’s work in and about the world and provides a forum for a broad dialogue that cuts across the disciplines and serves to internationalize the university’s research, teaching, and outreach agenda.

The fellowships will provide opportunities for research and teaching in the field of foreign policy, security studies, and diplomatic history. The primary responsibilities of the fellows include research and publication of their work. Fellows are expected to interact with undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty; give a public lecture; teach one undergraduate course in the spring semester; contribute to the intellectual life of the Einaudi Center, and participate in its collective activities and development. A member of the Center’s faculty network will serve as a mentor during the fellowship and will meet on a regular basis with the fellow.
