Knight International Journalism Award

The International Center for Journalists seeks nominations of professional or citizen journalists whose reporting has made a significant difference in the lives of their fellow citizens. This honor reflects the mission of the Knight International Journalism Fellowships. The Fellowships aim to produce tangible changes that improve the quality and free flow of news in the public interest around the world.

This is the 13th year that the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) has recognized outstanding media professionals worldwide. Past recipients include pioneering journalists who have exposed government corruption, war crimes and other important stories. This year, nominations should also include how the journalist’s work has transformed communities for the better.

Eligibility
Nominees may be from print, broadcast or online media.

Award
Award winners receive a trip to the United States, where they will be honored at ICFJ’s Awards Dinner on November 9, 2010. Each winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize and a crystal trophy.
