Description
GIRP, the European Association of Pharmaceutical Full-line Wholesalers is looking to hire a Trainee and is currently accepting applications from highly motivated undergraduate/graduate candidates seeking a 6 months internship, starting in August/September 2012. Candidates should show practical skills, high motivation for work, a dynamic attitude and team spirit. Please note that GIRP can only accept candidates that are enrolled in University for the entire duration of the traineeship.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the organisation of the GIRP Autumn Conference, the Lunch Reception at the European Parliament and several internal meetings
- Researching, editing and writing input for GIRP’s numerous publications
- Compilation of power point presentations for internal meetings and external conferences
- Regular information research to support ongoing projects
- Participation in conferences, seminars and workshops with relevance to health policy
- Up-keeping GIRP’s internet presence
- Administrative support and office management

Eligibility
Must have qualities:
- GIRP can only accept undergraduate/graduate students. The candidate must be enrolled in University for the entire duration of the traineeship.
- Candidates must be fluent in German and English
- Fluent French would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent knowledge of all Windows Office applications
- Self-starter, high level of independence and responsibility
Desirable qualities:
- Experience in event organising
- Affinity for graphic design
- Aptitude with social networking tools such as Twitter and Facebook
- Good writing/editing skills
