Prizes: The winner receives a free two – week english language course in Kings College
Become a friend of the Verbalisti language network on Facebook (you become a friend by clicking “like” on the Verbalisti Facebook page), upload one of your photos you like the most or find special, describe it in English in no more than 200 characters and you could win a free Verbalists language trip to Kings Colleges in Oxford.
The competition “Verbalize Yourself!” is organized by the regional language network Verbalists and company Prodirekt in cooperation with Person Longman. The educational sponsor of the competition is Kings Colleges.
The competition is open to the 10 June 2011, and the winners will be announced on the award giving ceremony that will be held on 16 June 2011 in the Verbalisti seat in Belgrade.
The jury shall give up to 10 points based on:
- The originality of the photography
- The quality of its description
Important note: Regarding the description of the photograph, originality is a priority in respect to the accuracy of the grammar.
Eligibility
- Applicants should be over 11 years of age
- Groups, schools, faculties and legal entities are also eligible
- Especially teachers are encouraged to take part in the competition together with their students.
Prizes
Main Prize: The best “verbalised” photograph shall recieve a free two – week English language course in KIngs Colledge
Second, third and fourth place: shall recieve a dictionary of contemporary English language with a CD from the Perarson Longman publisher
Fifth, sixth and seventh place: shall recieve a Penguin Reader book
Fans award: The owner of the “verbalised” photograph that shall recieve the most votes on the Facebook page shall be awarded a digital camera.
