4 Teaching & Research Fellowships, OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan

The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a public foundation designed to promote the principles and aims of the OSCE in the Central Asian region, enshrined in its fundamental idea of comprehensive security. It is looking for four Teaching and Research Fellows for the fall semester of its MA Program in Politics and Security 2011/2012.

Eligibility

The qualified candidate holds at least an MA/MSc but preferably a Ph.D. degree in Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies or a related field and has teaching experience.

* short summary of research project,
* two letters of reference (from people familiar with the candidate’s academic work)

Fellowship

The OSCE Academy will provide/cover:
a) Economy class roundtrip airfare from the city of current residence to Bishkek;
b) Entry visa expenses to Kyrgyzstan, if any;
c) Housing allowance (for international fellows);
d) Honorarium of 750 Euros per month for teaching the four credit hour course;
e) 100 Euro one-time settling-in fee (for international fellows);
f) office space and a computer, as well as access to all of our facilities, including library and JSTOR.
The Academy will not be able to provide health insurance.
