Open to: Young or aspiring journalists aged 18-25 living in Southeast Asia.

Description:

Dialogue Earth and Emmy-award-winner Pailin Wedel present the first Instagram reel contest focused on climate change impacts in Southeast Asia. Participants are invited to create a 2-minute reel highlighting local climate challenges or initiatives. The contest aims to amplify local voices and stories addressing environmental issues through creative storytelling.

Eligibility:

Open to young or aspiring journalists aged 18-25 residing in Southeast Asia. Submissions can be in any local language but must include English subtitles.

How to apply:

Participants aged 18-25 from Southeast Asia can submit a 2-minute Instagram reel on local climate impacts by tagging friends, using the hashtag #SEAClimateStories, and following Dialogue Earth’s guidelines. The winning entry will receive a $200 equipment voucher, and finalists will join an online workshop led by Emmy-winner Pailin Wedel.
