Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellowship (SAJP).

hosted by University of Westminster is an 8-week program designed for mid-career journalists from South Asia. It focuses on the role of media in governance and democracy. This program examines how media can hold political institutions accountable. The Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellowship (SAJP) includes lectures, discussions and visits with key UK academics media and political figures. Fellows will also organize a symposium. They will engage with UK media organizations. The program runs from May to June and is funded by UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Scholarship:

  • The fellowship provides full program fees living expenses for duration of the fellowship and return economy airfare from the fellow’s country of residence to the UK.
