Description

Innopolis University offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science and four Master’s degree programs: Data Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Secure System and Network Engineering (SNE).

• Bachelor program

Program duration: 4 years (8 semesters).

The first 2 years of studies students take core courses in Software Engineering and Computer Science. In the 3rd and the 4th years, students can select electives considering their specific degree plan: Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Robotics, Game Development and Applications, or Data Science.

The majority of courses foresees joint projects. Some courses contain research work under the supervision of laboratory team members of Innopolis University.

The curriculum includes 32 weeks of internships in large IT companies and departments, startups and research laboratories.

• Master program

Duration: 1 academic year + 1-year internship.

The program is designed for those who have at least one and a half year of experience in related fields and want to learn state of the art techniques to analyze problems in big data/data science area. During the program, students are offered with 6 core courses to complete and various elective courses which will broaden knowledge and application areas. Most of the courses are designed with projects which enable students to apply algorithms to real-world data sets. With the successful completion of the program, students are expected to become a data science specialist who can preprocess data sets, apply algorithms, analyze results and visualize/report outcomes.

Eligibility

Bachelor program

• Knowledge of English (Intermediate level or higher);
• Personal achievements: participation in Olympiads, competitions, conferences (with priority to the field of IT);
• Excellent academic performance in Computer Science (topics for applicants) and Mathematics (topics for applicants);
• Basic programming skills.

Master program

• At least 18 months of working experience;
• A bachelor’s degree (CS, CE, MATH);
• Minimum of 3.5 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale;
• Knowledge of English (Intermediate level or higher);
• Strong background in mathematics and programming;

Scholarships

The winners will receive a scholarship that covers 100% of the tuition fee and guarantees a monthly allowance on Bachelor and Master’s degree programs at the Russian IT University.

Monthly scholarship:

• around 477.34 EUR for Bachelor’s degree students;
• around 556.89 EUR for Master degree students in case of perfect academic performance;

The selection procedure for foreign candidates will include four steps:

Step 1: Register your application at application portal of Innopolis University.

• Fill in the application form;
• prepare your CV/portfolio, motivation letter (required);
• letters of recommendation (optional), project description (optional);
• pass the online tests and submit your application;

Step 2: Get the invitation for a skype interview with the admissions office representative;
Step 3: Get the invitation for the second interview with faculty members of Innopolis University;
Step 4: Pass the English language test or a certificate of proficiency in English (IELTS Academic, TOEFL certificates, etc.);
Step 5: Get the scholarship decision letter on your e-mail;
