Description

The ADAMI Media Prize was created to encourage audio-visual journalists and media professionals in the EaPcountries to focus upon the themes of migration, integration and cultural diversity, and to promote their work by recognizing and rewarding exemplary programmes.

The prize aims to increase media interest in the promotion of cultural diversity and to encourage networking among programme managers and filmmakers in Eastern Europe.

The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe, funded by Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, is accepting films and TV/online programs promoting cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue.

The contest features six categories – fiction (movies, cartoons, TV shows), information (for entries longer than 10 minutes), news and short nonfiction (up to 10 minutes), web pages, web videos, and Young ADAMI Media Prize (for participants ages 28 and younger). All submissions must be related to the theme of migration, integration and cultural diversity.

Eligibility

Media professionals from Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, and Belarus can compete in this contest.

Award

The ADAMI Media Prize 2015 will be awarded at a festive gala evening in December in Tbilisi, Georgia. The winner of each category will receive a trophy and a cash prize.
