The AI-Cybersecurity Essay Prize Competition, organized by Virtual Routes in partnership with the Munich Security Conference (MSC) and sponsored by Google, seeks insightful analyses on how Artificial Intelligence will transform cybersecurity, with a focus on implications for Europe. Participants are encouraged to propose strategies for policymakers to navigate these changes.

Eligibility

  • Professional Status: Open to individuals globally who are experts in cybersecurity and AI.
  • Language: Submissions must be in English.
  • Authorship: Only single-authored essays are accepted.

Benefits

  • Monetary Awards: Totaling €19,500 across five winners.
  • Publication: Winning essays will be published on Binding Hook, Virtual Routes’ platform for technology and security.

How to Apply

  1. Essay Requirements:
    • Topic: “How will Artificial Intelligence change cybersecurity, and what are the implications for Europe? Discuss potential strategies that policymakers can adopt to navigate these changes.”
    • Length: 800 to 1,200 words, excluding footnotes; include hyperlinks for references.
    • Originality: Essays must present unique perspectives and be the author’s original work.
