Description:

The Chevening Research, Science, and Innovation Leadership Fellowship (CRISP) is a fully-funded program for mid-career professionals from India and Sri Lanka. It focuses on individuals with high potential in science, innovation, and business. Hosted by St. Cross College, University of Oxford, and funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, the fellowship runs from early April to late June.

The CRISP Fellowship covers all programme fees, living expenses, and return economy airfare from India or Sri Lanka to the UK. It aims to improve understanding of UK science and innovation, explore research and economic development interactions, and develop business plans. Fellows will visit UK institutions and businesses, build professional networks, and participate in a varied cultural programme.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Chevening Research, Science, and Innovation Leadership Fellowship (CRISP), applicants must be citizens of India or Sri Lanka and currently reside in their home country. They should hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience and have at least seven years of relevant work experience. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to innovation, have a strong academic background in science, engineering, or technology, and possess good English language skills. British or dual British citizenship is not permitted, and applicants must agree to all fellowship guidelines.
